The unique Strawbale Winery provides a rustic and organic venue for the cellar door complementing the sustainable practices employed on the vineyard and farm generally. The main varieties include the classics – Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Chenin Blanc.
The winery could best be described as micro-boutique, with varietal runs as few as 100 bottles to 1000 bottles. Great care is taken in producing the highest quaility wines from the sustainably grown grapes.
Tasting and cellar door sales are available on the 1st and 2nd Sunday of each month – 11am – 4pm (3pm winter). Changes do occur – please check our homepage info “What Happening” for any changes. We also do appointments – just give us a call and we’ll accommodate if we can.

The Vine Loft
The Vine Loft provides a great opportunity to get away from the crowd – providing a unique winery experience in the Goulburn region. Fully self contained, kitchen, TV/DVD, BBQ and split system air-conditioning in a unique all timber accommodation. Guests are welcome to observe and join in the seasonal activities on the farm, and winery tour. Enjoy a glass of Yarralaw Springs wine on the Vine Loft balcony overlooking the secluded valley, surrounded by kangaroos just below on the winery grounds, together with estate grown and produced olives. Centrally located to explore the nearby region including Canberra, Crookwell, Bungonia National Park, Bungendore and Braidwood.
